What this site is for
The pages on this site explain, broadly, how residential fences are built and repaired, the ways Southwest Ohio clay, freeze and thaw cycles, slopes and storms affect them, and the usual sequence of the work. The site also connects homeowners in the Cincinnati area with a fence contractor working the region.
General information, not professional advice
Nothing here is a survey, an engineering opinion or a legal opinion, and nothing here predicts how a particular city, township, county or homeowners association will treat a particular property. It explains how this kind of work normally proceeds.
Soil, grade, property lines, permitting practice and neighborhood rules vary from one property to the next, and each governing authority is the final word on its own rules. Treat what is written here as background, not as a substitute for someone examining your own yard or for advice from a professional you hire for the job.
No prices on this site
No page on this site states a price, and none should be inferred from anything here. Cost is set by the contractor after the property has been seen, because only then is there enough information to answer it fairly.
